  • The NEBOSH International General Certificate is suitable for those embarking on a career in health and safety, providing a sound basis for progression on to the NEBOSH International Diploma. No previous health and safety knowledge is required.
  • Managers, supervisors and employees throughout the world take the NEBOSH International General Certificate because it gives them the skills and know-how to fulfil their health and safety responsibilities in any country and in any kind of organisation.
  • Holders of NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety are entitled to Associate Membership (AIOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Nebosh Course in Singapore - Mode of Assessment

IG1 – The invigilated paper-based exam is being permanently replaced by a new open-book examination (OBE) via NEBOSH online assessment platform. In the two weeks after your exam, you will be required to attend a closing interview which takes approximately 15 minutes. The purpose of the interview is to confirm that the work you have submitted is your own and that you did not have any assistance in completing your NEBOSH assessment.

IG2 – The practical assessment of the NEBOSH General Certificate. It tests your ability to apply your learning in the real world. You’re required to produce a risk assessment of your workplace that identifies a range of hazards. The risk assessment must be suitable and sufficient.

Nebosh Course in Singapore - Entry Requirement

  • Academic Level: GCE ‘O’ Levels
  • Language Proficiency: WPLN Level 6
  • Work experience: 3-4 years
