Course Overview:
On completion of this unit, learners will have knowledge and skills in supervising formwork activities which include the construction, erection, alteration or dismantling and inspection of formwork structures at any worksite.
Course Objectives:
The “Supervise WSH for Formwork Construction” course aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to supervise formwork activities which include the construction, erection, alteration or dismantling and inspection of formwork structures at any worksite.

36 hours (Facilitated Learning (Theory with case studies) – 32 hours, Assessment – 4 hours)

Mode of Assessment:
At the end of the module, learners are required to complete a total of 4 hours of written assessment.
Attendance Requirement:
75% for classroom and assessment sessions
Passing Criteria:
Learners must be deemed ‘C’ Competent in all the assessment components to pass.
Qualification:
Upon successful completion of course and assessment, learners will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
Who Should Attend:
The “Supervise WSH for Formwork Construction” is a mandatory WSH training course for all workers supervising formwork activities works in construction sites and related industries.

Entry Requirement
- Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy level 4 and above.
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to
ES Workplace Numeracy level 4 and above. - Preferably have completed and passed the relevant Formwork Course, SEC(K) (Timber, Aluminium or System Formwork) by Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
